A Special Olympics rider defying the odds of her diagnosis

 

At 23, Special Olympics Rider Abigail Pratt has shown that despite the challenges life throws at her, there’s always room for growth, determination, and a love for horses. 

 

Diagnosed with autism and autistic catatonia, a rare neuropsychiatric disorder that causes paralysis-like episodes where Abigail can lose the ability to speak or move. It's safe to say, life hasn’t always been easy for her.
